He now also hold the record of being the only international batsman to score two double centuries in ODI cricket, after recording the same feat against Australia in 2013. The previous record was held by fellow Indian batsman Virender Sehwag at 219 runs.<br /><br />Rohit Sharma started off the innings slow, with the wickets of Rahane and Rayudu falling early. He helped to build the innings with Virat Kohli, and then proceeded to explode in the latter overs, striking 33 fours and 9 sixes in his innings.<br /><br />This once again shows the depth of the Indian batting talent, which will be a huge force to be reckoned with in the upcoming world cup.<br />
